Lewy body Dementia (LBD) is a type of progressive dementia that leads to a decline in thinking, reasoning and independent function because of abnormal microscopic deposits that damage brain cells over time.
A diagnosis of dementia or increasing problems with memory loss often result in a flurry of emotions, multiple complex questions, and the making of both short and longterm plans. One of the biggest questions tends to be how long can (or should) I live at home?
