Self-care is so important, yet it is often forgotten. Self-care means you are taking the right steps toward caring for yourself. Allowing yourself to be healthier, help and care for others, live your best life and accomplish what you need and want to.
Wikipedia defines self-care as the process of taking care of oneself with behaviors that promote health and active management of illness when it occurs. Self-care is one HUGE way we can improve, better manage, and cope with our grief and daily stresses in our lives. We need to remember self-care is not being selfish. It’s the necessary steps an individual can take to manage stresses in his or her life. By doing this it allows one to take charge of their own health and well-being.
