We are featuring inspiring speakers and a senior-led Round Robin that will deliver 101 ideas to keep daily life vibrant, fulfilling & energizing!
Guest speaker, Susan Armstrong will be asking, “When Was the Last Time You Did Something for the First Time?” Susan will share stories of the “firsts” she has experienced this year, in her new career as an author. Her new book “Doomed by Blooms” is the first in a series of cozy mysteries.
Garden Party, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Join us from immediately following the seminar for our Garden party. We will have an Elvis tribute concert outdoors in the beautiful Terrace Garden until 1:30 p.m. featuring local “Elvis” band: Dale Kenny Nite Classik’s Band. During a brief Elvis intermission, we will have a fun fashion show presented by Carla Whaley and Kristi Ivy in cooperation with Chico’s, Extraordinaire Salon & Boutique and other local friends…featuring Empowered Senior models! Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Hotdogs will be there selling hot dogs and hot links!
